In your first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and understanding your reasons for seeking therapy. I’ll explain my approach, including confidentiality and how I can support your goals, whether you’re navigating anxiety, postpartum challenges, or trauma. You’ll have space to share your story, current struggles, and therapy goals. We’ll explore how techniques like EMDR and solution-focused therapy can help you, creating a personalized plan for moving forward. By the end of the session, we’ll establish next steps, including scheduling and logistics, so you leave feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about your progress.

The length of therapy varies for each person, depending on your unique needs and goals.
Some clients seek short-term therapy to address specific issues, while others benefit from longer-term support for deeper exploration and growth.
In our first few sessions, we’ll discuss your goals and create a plan tailored to you. We’ll regularly review your progress and adjust as needed. Ultimately, you decide how long you’d like to continue based on how you feel and the changes you’re experiencing.
The goal is to help you reach a place where you feel empowered and able to manage on your own.

Please note that reimbursement varies by plan, so it’s best to check with your insurance provider about your OON benefits.
